Itinerary

  • You will be arriving at Frankfurt Airport (FRA), and your pickup will be arranged according to your flight arrival time. We generally allow a buffer of one hour to collect your baggage and meet your driver. Also, if you are arriving later in the day, the activities planned for today will be rescheduled for other days in Frankfurt city.
  • Then, hop on a boat tour along Frankfurt’s River Main and discover the bustling metropolis, departing at least 6 times each day. Take an hour to explore the riverine side of Germany's financial capital and experience stunning views from the water.
  • Enjoy the best views of Germany’s most imposing skyline on board the new KD boat, the MS Palladium. Discover the impressive financial city of Frankfurt and get some insight into the history and traditions behind this dynamic city. On this unique tour along the River Main, you'll learn the history behind all of Frankfurt’s major attractions.
  • The MS Palladium is also handicapped-accessible, making it possible for every person to experience Frankfurt by water.
  • Overnight in Frankfurt.

  • Today’s activity includes a trip to Idstein. Transfer from Frankfurt to Idstein using the train pass provided. This trip offers a great opportunity to explore the charming town located in the scenic Taunus region of Germany.
  • You could visit the Idstein Castle which dates back to the 14th century. Explore its well-preserved Renaissance-style architecture and enjoy the panoramic views from the castle tower. You could also visit the Historic Town center, Nassau Nature Park and some local winery for a wine tasting experience and to learn about the local wine culture.
  • This is a self guided tour and there will be no guide involved in this trip.
  • Overnight in Frankfurt.

  • On this day experience the charm of Heidelberg on this day trip from Frankfurt.. Transfer from Frankfurt to Heidelberg using the return train tickets provided.
  • After reaching, visit the world-famous ruins of Heidelberg Castle which has a stunning combination of Gothic and Renaissance elements. Stroll through the expansive courtyard and admire the views from the terrace. Marvel at one of the largest wine barrels in the world. Wander through the medieval town centre to find the Old Bridge, the Karlstor, and the Church of the Holy Spirit. (You can purchase the tickets to the castle at the site itself)
  • Admire the Haus zum Ritter (Knight's house) with its magnificent Renaissance façade. Take a walk on old narrow lanes lined with half-timbered houses. Pass by Germany’s oldest university and it is full of interesting stories. Extra time can be spent philosophizing on the Philosophenweg (Philosophers' Way) or purchasing a glass or two of excellent regional wine. You can purchase the Heidelberg Castle tickets at the castle itself. Return to Frankfurt by train at the end of your tour
  • Overnight in Frankfurt.

  • This morning you will be transferred to Berlin from Frankfurt via train. The train tickets will be provided by us but you will have to manage the transfers from and to the train stations on your own. Either you can take a cab or you could use Berlin's efficient tram or metro system.
  • Overnight in Berlin.

  • Today you will go on a walking tour of Berlin. On this 2-hour Berlin walking tour will show you all the top attractions in the city. Local experts will take you to must-see spots such as the impressive Brandenburg Gate, the impactful Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and show you parts of the infamous Berlin Wall. Explore the historic Berlin streets that defined the 20th century like no other city.
  • Also, you will be expected to tip the guide, approximately 5-10 EUR per person is standard. You start the trip by reaching the meeting point of the walk on your own.
  • Later in the day you will visit the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and learn about the daily work of the prisoners and the daily life in a concentration camp through the buildings that have survived to the present day. Take on the complex history of this place through the different monuments, for different ideologies and at different times that have been placed at the memorial.
  • During the visit to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp you will see what is known as Tower A or the main entrance of the prisoners to the camp, presided over by the famous sign on which you can read the motto of all the concentration camps "Arbeit macht Frei" or "Work will set you free". You will have to reach the museum on your own. Entry to the museum is free.
  • Overnight in Berlin.

  • Today you will transfer to Munich from Berlin. The train tickets will be provided by us but you will have to manage the transfers from and to the train stations on your own. After checking in to your hotel, you’ll be exploring the Old Town of Munich, sprawling on the west bank of the River Isar, is a treasure trove of architectural splendor and cultural heritage. Also known in German as Altstadt, this medieval area forms the historic core and cultural heart of the Bavarian capital. The entire Old Town is listed as a historical monument and is a living museum.
  • The Old Town is centered around Marienplatz (Mary's Square), which has been the city's main square since the 12th century. Among the surrounding buildings, the most prominent, perhaps, is the Neo-Gothic Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) with its iconic Glockenspiel (carillon). The square is usually abuzz with crowds anxious to see the Glockenspiel's performance, which occurs several times a day, featuring life-size figurines reenacting scenes from Munich's history.
  • Overnight in Munich.

  • On this day you’ll be heading straight to explore the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle and the enchanting old-world town of Füssen, framed by one of the most breathtaking natural settings in the world. Get surprised by the Majestic Neuschwanstein Castle and tour the scenic vantage points of the castle’s surroundings. After this enjoy a 2-hour train ride back to Munich through the Bavarian countryside and discover the extravagant world of King Ludwig II. It is a self guided trip, transfers from Munich and entry to the castle are included, but you will have to reach the train station on your own.
  • Overnight in Munich.

  • The next day after breakfast, you have two options:
  • Option 1: Garmisch-Partenkirchen: You can leave for Garmisch-Partenkirchen and explore the Bavarian lifestyle. This is a great option for tourists who have restricted time and need a completely unique experience. This trip takes you to the top of Germany – Zugspitze, with panoramic views of over four hundred mountain peaks. The ascent to the top of Zugspitze is not included and will have to be purchased on site (cost approx. 60 EUR per person), and this is a self-guided trip. Transfers from Munich to Garmisch by train are included, but you will have to reach the train station on your own.
  • Option 2: Königssee: Spend a beautiful day at the emerald waters of Königssee in the Berchtesgaden Alps of Bavaria (in Germany). The lake is surrounded by snow-clad mountains, with marvelous views of Germany's highest waterfall at Röthbachfall and the beautiful chapel of St. Bartholoma, dating from 1134. This place is totally unmissable. The boat ride on the lake is mesmerizing, and the little musical performance by the guide on the boat is cherry on the cake. The boat ride is not included in the price and must be purchased at the lake (cost approx. EUR 25 per person). Transfers from Munich to the lake are included, but you will have to reach the train station on your own.
  • Overnight in Munich.

  • Today your trip comes to an end and you’ll be transferred to the Munich (MUC) airport from your hotel by a private cab. The drop off to airport will be arranged 3 hours prior to your flight timings.
