Itinerary

  • You will be arriving at Paris (CDG) or Paris (ORY) airport, and your pickup will be arranged according to your flight arrival time. We generally allow a buffer of one hour to collect your baggage and meet your driver. Also, if you are arriving later in the day, the activities planned for today will be rescheduled for other days in Paris city.
  • Next, you’ll be covering the River Siene Cruise, ticket for which is included. You will have to reach the meeting point (mentioned in the voucher given to you) by yourself and board the boat accordingly. It will be a glass canopy boat from which you get to admire the most beautiful Parisian boulevards.
  • Overnight in Paris.
  • Note: Depending on your arrival time in Paris, the above mentioned activities may be shifted to subsequent days.

  • On this day, once you reach the requested meeting point on your own, an expert local guide will take you on a walking tour of Paris through the most iconic sites like Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, Pont Neuf, etc. This tour works on tips and you are expected to tip between Euro 5 to 10 atleast, for 2 people.
  • Then you move on to the Louvre Museum which is known as the biggest and most visited museum in the world. You will only be provided with the skip the line entry tickets but there is no guide. You will have to reach the Museum and enter using your tickets. Then you will have the entire day to explore till closing time.
  • After this, you shall be going to the top (summit) of the magnificent and iconic Eiffel Tower. You will have skip the line tickets for the same, the time on the ticket will have to be honoured. You may have to arrive atleast 15mins before the time mentioned on the ticket. And once inside, you can stay till closing time. You will only be provided with the skip the line entry tickets but there is no guide. You will have to reach the entry of Eiffel Tower on your own.
  • Overnight in Paris.

  • This day you may walk on the Champs-Élysées which is one of the iconic Parisian boulevards and is also amongst the most prestigious streets of the world where you will find most high-end brands.
  • Next, you will be doing the Montmartre Walk where you will discover the incomparable charm of the Montmartre district and its museums, vineyards, windmills, etc. This will be a self guided tour where you will be provided with a Google Maps Link, and you can follow that trail to explore the place by yourself.
  • And at the end of the day, you may enjoy a self-guided walk of the Pere Lachaise Cemetery which is notable for being the first garden cemetery, it was the final resting place of JRD Tata and many other famous personalities including Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde.
  • Note: If you want you can also take the disneyland (1 day 1 or 2 park) or Visit to Palace of Versailles today. These activities are optional and are on additional cost.
  • Overnight in Paris.

  • This morning you will be transferred to Lyon from Paris via train. The train tickets will be provided by us but you will have to manage the transfers from and to the train stations on your own. Either you can take a cab or you could use France's efficient tram or metro system. You can use your public transportation to reach your hotel in Lyon. Once you’ve arrived and settled into your hotel, spend the rest of the day getting to know Lyon.
  • Start by wandering through the city's historic neighborhoods, Vieux Lyon, the Presqu'île, and Fourvière Hill, all part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lyon is known for its rich history, vibrant culinary scene, and beautifully preserved Renaissance architecture. As you explore, don’t miss key sights such as the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, which offers panoramic views over the city, the expansive Parc de la Tête d'Or, the lively Place Bellecour, and the impressive Lyon Cathedral. As you walk through the Old Town, keep an eye out for the city’s unique Traboules, hidden passageways that connect buildings and courtyards, offering a glimpse into Lyon’s past.
  • Overnight in Lyon.

  • Today you will visit Annecy which is often referred to as the "Venice of the Alps", is renowned for its network of canals, well-preserved medieval architecture, and crystal-clear lake surrounded by mountains. Upon arrival, you'll be able to explore the Old Town (Vieille Ville), where narrow cobbled streets, pastel-colored houses, and lively markets create a postcard-perfect setting.
  • Visit places like: Vieille Ville (Old Town): Colorful houses, canals, and medieval charm, Lac d’Annecy (Lake Annecy): One of Europe’s cleanest lakes – ideal for walks or boat rides, Palais de l'Isle: Iconic island prison in the middle of a canal, Château d’Annecy: Historic castle with panoramic views
  • Note: This day is at leisure and you will have to explore the city on your own. Return train tickets will be proviede. We will let you know the key things to do there and how to organize your day.
  • Overnight in Lyon.

  • This day you’ll be transferred from Lyon to to Avignon via train and then check in to your hotel. Post check-in you will expore the old town of Avignon Visit the walled city of Avignon. Avignon has some of France’s best preserved architectural monuments.
  • On a walk around town, you will first come across the Popes' Palace. This awesome mountain of a palace was built in the 1300s. Close to the Palace is is the Avignon Cathedral. On top of its bell tower is a gilded statue of the Virgin Mary watching over the town. Across the Palace Square dragons and eagles guard the Hotel des Monnaies, formerly the mint of the city. Go up to the Doms Rock Gardens, a park above the city with a pond featuring Venus and her swans. Have a snack and enjoy the panoramic views.
  • The Clock Square is at the exact center of the city. Here the Republic Street divides the city. Walk to the Avignon Market Halls, a covered market with a living green facade. There are more museums, churches, palaces, and above all there is the Bridge St Benezet also known as Le Pont d'Avignon of the song of the same name.
  • Overnight in Avignon.

  • Today visit Nimes, a city about 30 mins by train trom Avignon (train tickets to and from Avignon to Nimes are included). Nimes has a stunning Roman temple whose pristine condition is unmatched by any extant ones in Rome. There are also a few other fine Roman relics. Unesco World Heritage List of its iconic Maison Carrée, a Roman temple built in the first century CE.
  • Nimes has a rich Roman history, including a well-preserved arena and the Maison Carrée (“square house”), a Roman temple dating back to the year 2 AD which finds mention in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Other attractions are hidden around the city center.
  • For lunch, to get a local feel, you may go to Les Halles de Nimes, the city’s permanent, covered food market. Then walk over towards Les Jardins de la Fontaine. There are lots of benches en route, along the canal, and inside the park itself. Later retrun to Avignon.
  • Overnight in Avignon.

  • This morning you will be transferred to Marseille from Avignon via train. The train tickets will be provided by us but you will have to manage the transfers from and to the train stations on your own. Either you can take a cab or you could use France's efficient tram or metro system. You can use your public transportation pass provided by us to reach your hotel in Marseille. You can spend the rest of the day in Marseille getting to know the city, walking around the town, and going out dining.
  • Overnight in Marseille.

  • On this day you’ll cover Marseille for the complete day. Marseille is a huge city with several districts containing sightseeing, restaurants, nightlife etc. As this is a self guided tour, you will be provided with information on key attractions in the city, and you can use it to explore the city by yourself. You already have a 48 hour pass, using which you can explore the various attractions including Mucem (Mucem - Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean), MAC - Musee d'Art Contemporain, Musee d'Histoire de Marseille,Palais Longchamp, a round trip boat tour and much more. This transport pass is also valid on metro, trams and buses in Marseille. This will require a lot of walking and changing modes of transport throughout the day. As the activity is self-guided, you can spend as much or as little time as you want at different places.
  • Overnight in Marseille.

  • This day you’ll be transferred from Marseille to Nice via train and then check in to your hotel. Post check-in you can spend the rest of the day in Nice getting to know the city, walking around the town, and going out dining.
  • Overnight in Nice.

  • Start your day with the Walking Tour of Nice which will give you a unique opportunity to discover Nice at your own pace with a knowledgeable local tour guide. Discover, Nice and its breathtaking views, and explore many points that are the walk's highlights. You will be required to reach the meeting point on your own and this tour works on tips and you are expected to tip between Euro 5 to 10 atleast, for 2 people.
  • After that Make your way to Monte Carlo. Visit Monte-Carlo, a place which is the most famous of the Principality of Monaco’s districts. It is named after Prince Charles III, who was behind its construction in the nineteenth century. Monte-Carlo has become synonymous with luxury and glamour, bringing Monaco international fame. It is still home to Place du Casino (Casino Square), luxury hotels that are among the most prestigious in the world, such as the Hotel de Paris and the Hermitage, and many high-end shops. The most illustrious area of Monte-Carlo is even known as Carré d’Or (Gold Square) – a reference to the numerous jewelers found here. Return train transfer tickets from Nice will be provided. You will need to reach the meeting point on your own.
  • Overnight in Nice.

  • Today your trip comes to an end and you’ll be transferred to the Nice (NCE) airport from your hotel by a private cab. The drop off to airport will be arranged 3 hours prior to your flight timings.
